UW Extension Grant County works with federal, state, and local agencies to provide educational resources that enhance the regional economy. This fall, we are offering a series of webinars that address a variety of topics key to building a strong local economy. We will provide ‘archived’ content from past webinars, when available. Participation is open to the public and there is no fee. Please call ahead so that we can make appropriate accommodations.

Workshops:
- October 11, 12, 18, or 20 ‘Successfully Applying to Agricultural Grant Programs’. This workshop is designed to help farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs develop strategies to access state and federal grants and other resources. The workshop will also give prospective applicants information, tools, and training to strengthen applications made to the USDA Value Added Producer, SARE, DATCP’s Agricultural Development and Diversification (ADD), Buy Local, Buy Wisconsin, Specialty Crop Block Grants and other grant and loan programs in order to attract increased capital to Wisconsin’s value-added agricultural industry.
