4-H Junior Leaders

The Grant County 4-H Junior Leaders is a county-wide 4-H group which consists of 7th grade 4-H members and above enrolled in the Youth Leadership project at the club level.  The 4-H Junior Leaders participate in many fun and exciting activities and community service events throughout the year.  This is a great opportunity to be a youth leader in Grant County 4-H, while also having fun with your fellow 4-H friends.  Being a Junior Leader builds leadership and communication skills which will be useful to you in building resumes and filling out scholarship applications.  The Junior Leaders hold business meetings on the second Sunday of each month.  The Junior Leaders  decide on the activities in which they participate in throughout the year. Some of the past activities include; dances, sledding, caroling, bingo, camping, lock-ins, winter camp, WI Dells trips, parades, and a dunk tank at the Grant County Fair. Other yearly activities include; Adopt-A-Highways, fairgrounds clean-up, Operation Easter Bunny and the Grant County 4-H Junior Leaders’ Halloween Party.  For more information on the 4-H Junior Leaders or if you are interested in joining this fun group contact the Extension Office at 723-2125.
